Staging.com Privacy Policy

Staging.com, Inc. (“Staging.com,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data when you visit www.staging.com (the “Website”) or use our AI-powered virtual staging tools, apps, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). It also describes your privacy rights and how to exercise them.

1. Personal Data We Collect

“Personal Data” means information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to an individual. We collect Personal Data in three main ways:

1.1 Information You Provide

  • Account & Profile. Name, company, email address, phone number, job title, and mailing address.
  • Property Photos & Project Details. Interior or exterior photos you upload so our AI can generate staged images, plus optional details such as room type, preferred style, and project notes.
  • Communications. Messages, attachments, survey responses, or feedback you send to us.
  • Payment Details. Records of purchases (payment card data is handled directly by our payment processor).
  • Marketing Opt-Ins. Name and contact details if you join our mailing list or request a demo.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data. IP address, device ID, browser type, pages viewed, links clicked, time spent, and the date/time of each visit.
  • Cookies & Similar Tech. We use cookies, pixels, and local storage to keep our site functioning, analyze performance, and support marketing campaigns.

    Cookie examples:

    • Google Analytics – site usage metrics (2 yrs)
    • Hotjar – user engagement heatmaps (1 yr)
    • Intercom – chat session ID (9 mo)
    • Facebook Connect / TikTok / Google Ads – advertising attribution (90 days – 13 mo)

1.3 Information from Third Parties

  • Social Platforms. If you interact with us on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or similar sites, we may receive profile or analytics data subject to each platform’s own privacy policy.
  • Third-Party Logins. If you sign in with Google, Facebook, or another provider, we receive the information you authorize via that service.
  • Other Sources. Lead-generation partners, public databases, or data providers may supply business-contact details.

2. How We Use Personal Data

3. How We Disclose Personal Data

  • Service Providers. Cloud hosting, image-processing AI infrastructure, payment processors, analytics, email, and customer-support vendors.
  • Affiliates. Our subsidiaries and related entities for internal purposes consistent with this Policy.
  • Legal & Safety. To comply with law, court orders, or protect rights, property, and safety (ours or others).
  • Business Transfers. As part of any merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
  • With Consent. E.g., if you publicly share a staged image or approve a case study.

4. Data Retention

We keep Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above, unless a longer retention period is required or allowed by law (e.g., tax, accounting, or litigation holds).

5. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • Access & Portability – request a copy of the Personal Data we hold.
  • Rectification & Deletion – correct or delete your data.
  • Restriction & Objection – limit or object to certain processing.
  • Withdraw Consent – opt out of processing that relies on consent.
  • Complaint – lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

6. Third-Party Links & Services

Our Website may link to external sites or services we don’t control. Their privacy practices govern any data you provide to them—please review their policies separately.

7. Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect Personal Data, but no system is 100% secure. Please use strong passwords and notify us of any suspected unauthorized activity.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us so we can delete it.

9. International Transfers

We are based in the United States; by using the Services you consent to transferring your data to the U.S. Where required (e.g., EU/UK/Swiss users), we rely on adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses, or other valid transfer mechanisms.

10. Changes to This Policy
